The editor is keyboard-first. You can open this reference any time from the ? Help menu in the editor toolbar (desktop only). Most shortcuts are keyboard-based and therefore desktop-oriented; on mobile, use the touch gestures listed below.

Tips

On Mac, use ⌘ (Command) in place of Ctrl for all Ctrl-based shortcuts.

Press W anywhere on the canvas and a ring of everything you can add appears around the pointer. Click one and it lands on that spot — no trip to the Add element button in the toolbar and no second click to position it.

The options sit in the same three groups as the + menu, and each group has its own colour, so you can aim by position rather than reading:

Layer and Frame — things you place directly.
Video Compositor, Upscaler, 3D Asset, 3D World — each turns something into something else.
Empty Stack, Router, Prompt Widget — the pieces you wire into a pipeline.

Hover an option and its name appears in the middle of the ring.

Two need a second step. Layer opens your file browser, and the image lands where you pressed W. Frame opens a second ring of the four common shapes — the full set of sizes stays in the + menu.

To dismiss: press Esc, press W again, or click anywhere outside the ring.

Near the edge of the screen the ring shifts inwards so all of it stays reachable, but whatever you pick still lands where your cursor was.

The menu does not open while you are typing, while a drawing or masking tool is active, or in presentation mode.

Notes

Shortcuts apply anywhere on the canvas unless a text field is focused. On a trackpad, a two-finger scroll or drag pans the canvas; pinch to zoom (or hold Ctrl/⌘ while scrolling).

V is not the quick-add key. V is a second Escape — it deselects and exits modes. It exists because some browsers use Escape to leave fullscreen, which would otherwise leave you with no way to cancel.
