A Frame is an empty render target — a blank tile in a fixed aspect ratio that you generate into (or sketch on first).
When to use
- You want a fresh image at a specific size, rather than editing an existing layer.
Steps
- Add a Frame from the prompt bar.
- Choose a preset: 1:1 (2048×2048), 16:9, 4:3 or 3:2 — each in landscape or portrait.
- Optionally sketch on the frame first, then type a prompt and Generate into it.
Tips
- Frames are great for starting a composition from scratch at an exact aspect ratio.
- Sketch a rough massing on the frame first to steer the render.
