Plugin troubleshooting
Most installs work on the first try. If yours didn't, find your CAD tool below.
Revit
Revit 2025 or 2026 says the add-in could not be loaded
The plugin needs Revit 2025.5 or 2026.5 or later: from those updates on, Revit runs on Microsoft .NET 10, which the plugin is built for. Install the latest Revit update from Autodesk Access, or stay on an earlier update with version 1.1.0.
The INTER\STITIAL AI tab does not appear
Check that PackageContents.xml sits directly inside
ISTPlugin2.bundle at this path:
%APPDATA%\Autodesk\ApplicationPlugins\ISTPlugin2.bundle\PackageContents.xml One extra nested folder is the usual cause. Also confirm you did not previously tell Revit "Do Not Load" for this add-in.
Still no tab on a managed or corporate machine
Some IT policies distrust files extracted from a downloaded archive. Clear that mark in PowerShell, then restart Revit:
Get-ChildItem "$env:APPDATA\Autodesk\ApplicationPlugins\ISTPlugin2.bundle" -Recurse | Unblock-File "Web app is still loading"
WebView2 needs a few seconds on first launch. If it never becomes ready, install the Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime.
"Please log in to the INTER\STITIAL AI web app first"
Open the web app panel and sign in, then retry the extraction.
ARCHICAD
"The file is an outdated Add-On"
The add-on is compiled for ARCHICAD 29 only. This error also appears if you're running AC28 or an earlier version.
Add-on failed to load / missing DLL
If Windows reports a missing MSVCP140.dll or VCRUNTIME140.dll,
install the
Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable (x64), then restart ARCHICAD.
Antivirus quarantines the file
The add-on is not code-signed. Some antivirus products flag unsigned binaries. Restore the file from quarantine and add an exception.
Rhino
Plugin not found in Package Manager
You need Rhino 8.17 or newer. Run _SystemInfo to check your version. If you're
on an earlier build, update Rhino first.
Toolbar doesn't appear after install
Restart Rhino after installing from the Package Manager. The toolbar registers on the next launch.
